Ruben Garcia Arabit was born in Valencia (Spain). He moved to the Netherlands when he was 4 years old and started dancing around his 9th year. Ruben and his twinsister learned quickly and were soon asked for the demo team. Inspired by Michael Jackson Ruben began to wave and moon walk. After some time he created his own style and he was able to freestyle. In that period he managed to reach the 8th place at the World Hip Hop Champions Chips in Bremen (Germany). He wanted more, so he took hip hop lessons in Rotterdam. There Ruben got asked for the demo team as well.
When he finished school he wanted to enter a dance academy. Therefore he soon took classes in classical ballet. At the same time he started to get into salsa and took classes from Annika Lau who is now his dancepartner. Within 3 months classical training Ruben got accepted at the Fontys Academy of Dance in Tilburg. Approximately 2 to 3 months later he entered SDS (Salsa Dance Squad), where he trained and has given shows both domestically and abroad. He is spending now his 3rd year at the dance academy, has regular commercial contracts and of course he learns something every day there. His motto is: "Never say anything that you can not do somethin …"
2012 he will be starting dancing in one of Hollands best Ballet-Dancecompanies - Scapino in Rotterdam!
